What is a hotspot and what is the best practice for adding them.
A hotspot is the clickable dot in the parts catalog that, once clicked, will explode out.
They’re used to organise your product and make your catalog easier to navigate for the end user.
For best practice, we recommend creating hotspots and grouping parts by physical location, not type. This makes the user journey easier when the part name or number is unknown.
E.g., if a user doesn’t know what the part is, but they know it came from the top of the engine, they can navigate the catalog based on location.
