How to upload your Sales Bill of Materials (BOM) spreadsheet, and the possible errors you might encounter.
Once you have prepared your Sales BOM spreadsheet in the required format, click the Browse button to select your Sales BOM file and then click the Upload File button.
❗️ The uploaded file must be a .CSV file.
Once the file has been uploaded successfully, you can click the Next Step button.
🔔 You no longer need to keep the SBOM upload page open to process your Sales BOM!
If there is any missing information, the Partful Platform will pop up with a prompt for which information is missing. For example, this could be:
- Missing Rows
- Unexpected column headers or the wrong order of headers
- Duplicated sales part numbers
- Duplicated engineering part numbers
- Price field entered as anything other than a decimal value
