Placing an order through the Partful platform.

🚨 This is only available to users on the Partful platform or if OEMs have made their platform available to the public.
If you are looking for spare parts for a non-Partful vendor, then we cannot help you.
First, you need to find the part you want to order from within your 3D model. This can be by navigating the 3D model or searching the model for part name or number.
When you click on the part in the platform that you want to order, the left hand sidebar will open listing the part name, number, price and quantity.
💡 Your admin will control whether you can see the pricing or not, or if the part is set as a Price on Request or not.
Click on the plus (+) or minus (-) signs under quantity to change the amount of parts you want to order.
Click on “Add to Cart”
This will open the right hand side bar to show what items, and how many you have in your shopping cart.
💡 When you add an item to your cart, if you navigate away from the model you’re on, you won’t lose what’s in your cart.
You can change the quantity, or delete the parts being ordered in the right hand side bar as well.
When you’re placed all the items you need into your cart, click on “Review your order”.
This will bring up your Shopping Cart, the names and numbers of your parts, the quantity, the prices and the grand total of your order.
💡 If you're placing an order that's "Price on Request" then you won't be able to view the price of your order at this time. Your platform admin or company representative will be in touch after you submit your order.
If you’re happy with your order, then click continue.
If you’re not happy with your order, you can empty the whole cart by clicking “Empty shopping cart” on the bottom left.
If you want to delete individual items, you can click on the bin icons to the left hand side of the part you want to remove.
When you click continue, you will be prompted to fill in your order details.
You can still see the total parts order, price and shipping cost to the right hand side.
This includes:
- Name
- Company Name
- Telephone Number
- Delivery Address
- Your Reference (optional)
- Customer Account (optional)
- Additional Message (optional)
Once you click “Complete Order” the user making the order will be sent a confirmation email to the email address listed in the order.
The admin for the platform will also receive the order in their emails, and this will be viewable on the "Received Orders" tab.
